A group of students pursuing BCA and MCA programs embarked on a unique industrial-cum-leisure trip to Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The journey aimed to provide students with a dual experience - a comprehensive insight into the IT industry through an industrial visit to Squareboat, an IT company in Gurgaon, coupled with the exploration of the scenic beauty and cultural richness of Manali
The trip commenced on 8th January at 8 am from Jaipur. The students arrived at Squareboat, an IT company, at 2 pm for an industrial visit. The visit served as an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical exposure to the IT sector.
Post the industrial visit, the group departed for Manali, with dinner being enjoyed around 9 pm near Panipat. The journey was not only about reaching the destination but also about the anticipation and excitement building up among the students as they looked forward to a blend of industry insights and leisure activities in the enchanting landscapes of Himachal Pradesh.
The group reached Manali on 9th January and checked into Hotel Kalinga Grand. The accommodations were arranged in double occupancy rooms, ensuring the students' comfort during their stay, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
On the same day, students explored the local attractions, including the renowned Hidimba Temple. This cultural immersion added a layer of diversity to the trip, allowing participants to appreciate the historical and religious significance of the region.
The itinerary for 10th January included a visit to the famous Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley. The students not only observed the engineering marvel of the tunnel but also engaged in recreational activities in the snow at Atal Tunnel, creating memorable experiences of joy and camaraderie.
On 11th January, the group departed from Manali. The day was filled with adventure, including paragliding in Kullu and a visit to the Vaishno Temple. These activities provided students with an opportunity to break away from the routine and enjoy moments of thrill and spirituality.
The trip also included leisure activities by the riverside, allowing students to unwind and connect with nature. These moments added a touch of relaxation and recreation to the overall trip.
The return journey commenced on 11th January, with the group reaching Jaipur on 12th January at 2 pm. The industrial-cum-leisure trip concluded successfully, leaving the students with a holistic experience encompassing both professional insights and leisurely exploration.
